Not feeling well today. I had to leave breakfast early and go back to bed. Rested for a few hours. Missed out on the Iguana Sanctuary visit. I was very upset too, because iguana's are one of my favorite animals. I did have a chance to get out after feeling better and mingle with the locals. That was pretty fun!
take care girl, hate to hear you are sick so far away from home.

Auntie Laura, we hope you are feeling better, Lindsey & Olivia
ReplyDeleteHi Lindsey and Olivia,
DeleteThank you for reading my blog. I am feeling much better! I hope you are enjoying my blog and learning a lot about what I've been doing. I love you both and have a wonderful week!
Wow, I am soooooooo jealous!!!! This sounds like the trip of a lifetime!! I so envy you (except maybe the termites!)! Archaeology is my armchair hobby, and you are visiting some awesome sites. Your pictures are great--they really give a sense of the place. I love iguanas also and have had two of them: Iggy and Igor (real original, huh?) Sorry about the sickness...are you watching what you drink? I always drank bottled water in Mexico, but once I asked for real cream in my coffee (they usually gave you powdered cream in packets) and drank it without think pasteurization and so forth. Let's just say I was a very unhappy camper. I must say you are very lucky to be able to visit such neat places. Have you eaten all of your mom's snacks? Are you working on your PhD. he he?? Well, we are keeping on keeping on here at Snipes. Take care, stay well, watch where you walk (as in those animals whose name rhymes with "bakes".

P.S. I personally would have preferred to be the loser in a Mayan ball court game since I like my heart right where it is at...in my chest!
